FAQ

What shades of brown LVT are available?

Our brown LVT collection spans the full spectrum of natural timber tones. Choose from dark brown LVT in rich walnut, chocolate and espresso shades for dramatic, contemporary spaces, or opt for medium oak, chestnut and toffee tones that complement traditional interiors. Lighter shades, including honey, caramel, and sandy browns, create bright, airy rooms whilst maintaining that sought-after wood aesthetic. Each shade delivers authentic grain patterns and textures that replicate the look of real wood without the maintenance demands.

What patterns does brown LVT come in?

We offer three distinct patterns in our brown luxury vinyl flooring range.

  • Brown plank LVT – This classic format delivers timeless appeal with varying widths to suit any room size.

  • Brown herringbone LVT - Adds sophisticated visual interest and a premium finish to living spaces and hallways.

  • Brown basketweave LVT - For something distinctive, basketweave patterns create texture and traditional charm, particularly effective in kitchens and utility areas.

All patterns are available across our entire shade spectrum, allowing you to find the perfect combination to match your design vision.

Which rooms suit brown luxury vinyl flooring?

Brown LVT flooring works beautifully throughout your home thanks to its waterproof properties and durability. Dark brown LVT flooring creates striking focal points in open-plan living areas and dining rooms, whilst medium tones provide versatility in bedrooms and offices.

Lighter brown shades brighten hallways, kitchens and bathrooms, with the waterproof core offering complete protection in moisture-prone areas. The realistic wood appearance maintains a warm, natural aesthetic in every space whilst delivering practical performance that genuine timber cannot match in high-traffic or wet environments.

Is brown LVT flooring waterproof?

Yes, all of our brown luxury vinyl flooring options offer complete waterproof protection, making them ideal for kitchens, hallways, utility rooms and any space where spills or moisture occur. The waterproof core prevents damage from moisture exposure. While the flooring itself is waterproof, it isn't completely watertight - water can seep between the joints. Because the product contains no wood content, any water that does get through will not damage the floor itself, ensuring long-lasting performance even in demanding conditions.

What installation options are available?

Our brown luxury vinyl flooring comes in two installation formats to suit your preferences and subfloor requirements:

  • Click-lock LVT systems float over your existing subfloor without glue or nails, making DIY installation achievable for confident homeowners and allowing for easy removal if needed.

  • Dry back brown luxury vinyl flooring, also known as glue-down LVT, uses traditional adhesive application, creating a permanent installation that's particularly suitable for commercial spaces or areas with heavy furniture.

Both methods require proper subfloor preparation - the surface must be level, clean and dry. For flawless results, consider our professional installation service.
